***09/11/11***On January 20, 2011 the house I shared with my beloved mother caught fire and I not only lost my home but most everything inside of it as well. As a result, I am sad to say that I no longer feel as though I will be able to resurrect this tribute site to my beloved mother. Although I was able to save many of our family photos, I lost my computer and everything relating to this site that I had saved on it. Mom's urn was literally fused into the tv set. I could not make it back into my bedroom in time to remove her urn. However, I was able to save her urn and she now is back with me at another home as I try to slowly rebuild my life. It saddens me deeply that this site was first destroyed due to an online photo storage server losing all of my photos a couple of years ago, and then the final blow, the fire, destroying all that I had managed to put together since then. I love you with all of my heart, mom. There may no longer be an online tribute to you but in my heart there is an eternal tribute to my love for you.(XoXo) You will forever be missed by me.

What can you say about a mother who gave her life to you, who never failed you, and who was devoted to you in her love right up until the very end?
My mother was such a woman, and I will never be able to thank her for helping me to keep my sanity and for showing me undying love. Although Alzheimer's robbed her of her spirit, this terrible, unforgiving monster was not able to rob her of her ability to show me just how very much she loved me.
When she left this earth, she took along with her the very essence of me, and I await her loving arms when we meet again one day...
Rest peacefully with the angels mom, for instead of being in your
wheelchair, God has now
given you wings...
As you can see, the angel graphic at the top of the page says,
"Make a Wish." I felt that
this
beautiful wishing angel was perfect for mom's site. My greatest wish
is that one day we will
find a cure for Alzheimer's so that no one else's life will ever have
to be destroyed and
taken away from them....
Tribute to Mom highly recommends this newly published book~"Grant Me My Final Wish." To learn more about it, please go here.
